What changes a pool quote in Morocco
Two quotes for a pool of 'the same size' can show a large gap. Here's what explains it, cost item by cost item.
Dimensions and depth
The main factor: the larger the shell surface area, the more material and labor cost increases proportionally.
Shape
A kidney or curved shape generally uses less surface area than a rectangle with the same outer dimensions, visible in the shape coefficient on our price grid.
Built-in steps
Adds shell surface area, so it adds cost, from +5% for a compact step to +32% for a wide submerged sundeck.
Exterior finish
Tiling, stone, or wood cladding is its own cost item, depending on the material chosen and the surface to cover.
Equipment
Filtration, skimmer, and basic return jets are included in the equipment package; heat pump, lighting, and automatic cover are options.
Earthworks
The only cost item never included in our price ranges: it depends entirely on ground conditions (access, soil type, site prep required) and is quoted separately.
Why you should ask for a detailed, itemized quote
A quote that shows a single lump sum, with no breakdown, doesn't tell you what's actually included. Insist on a quote that separates, at minimum: the shell (and its steps, if any), the base equipment package, delivery and installation, the exterior finish, and earthworks. That's the only way to compare two quotes from two different builders on an equal footing.
